electricity bill or telephone bill.
If

- You
need proof of relationship between the applicant and the

- If
your reason for applying is not for work then you will have
to prove you have the financial resources to support yourself.
You will need to produce a record of the balance you have
in your bank account. The amount will depend on the amount
of time you plan on staying in Taiwan. We have heard recently
that some office not only record a record of balance but
a history of your account to ensure you just didn't make
a deposit for the sole purpose of applying for a visa.
Photographs:
- They
must be color photographs an taken within the last 6 months.
The acceptable size is (1 inch x 1.5 inch).
Re-entry
Permit
- Once
you have your ARC you will need to apply for a reentry permit
if you want to leave Taiwan. This is usually done at the
time you apply for your ARC. If you have a newly issued
ARC that is plastic then your reentry permit is encoded
in the card and you must take your ARC card with yo when
you are traveling outside of the country. If you still have
an old paper ARC then you must have an ARC permit in your
passport, for an example of what this looks like just click
