Bali

Climate -
The best time to visit Bali is from from April to October as this is the cooler dry season. From November to March the weather is humid and cloudy with more rain, but is still not a bad time to go.

Tourists - July, August and early September are the busiest months. Accommodation is usually more difficult to find in these months and prices are general higher. Also from Christmas until the end of January it is quite busy due to the Australians and Indonesians visiting Bali for Christmas. Besides these times of the year Bali doesn't really have all that many tourists.

Festivals - There are lots of of Balinese festivals, holidays and special celebrations happening all the time in Bali, so there is no need to worry about coordinating your visit with local events.

Bangkok

Climate - Almost any time of the year is good to visit Bangkok, however between November and February there is less rain and it's not quite as hot. April would be the hottest month while September and October are the wettest, these are probably the best 2 months not to visit Thailand.

Tourists - The busiest tourist months in Bangkok tend to be in December and August. The least crowded months are usually May, June and September.

Cambodia

Climate - Lower humidity, cooler temperatures and less rain make December and January the best months to visit Cambodia. The wet season in Cambodia is from May to October, even though it can get very wet it is also a good time to visit Angkor, as the moats will be full and the foliage that much more lush. Beginning in February the temperature continues to climb getting hotter by the month so once in April the temperatures are almost unbearable.

Festivals - "Bon Om Tuk" is Cambodia's biggest festival and is held in the beginning of November.

Ho Chi Minh

Climate - Ho Chi Minh City has a seven to eight month wet season which can make things very wet and humid. Heavy rainfalls can last for days without stopping. Temperatures are very steady in the 30 degrees Celsius range. The driest time is from December to April when the humidity drops below 60%.

Hong Kong

Climate -The best months of the year to visit Hong Kong are October, November and December as sunny clear days are more frequent. During the summer months, June to August, the heat and rain tend to make it very humid.

Tourists - During Chinese New Year, which is usually in late January and early February, tends to much more busier and most things will cost more. Some hotels do offer discounts outside the high seasons of March-April and October-November.

Kuala Lumpur
Climate - Malaysia is hot and humid all year, maximum temperatures during the day are above 30 degrees Celsius and overnight temperature rarely getting below 20 degrees Celsius. It rains all year round but usually limits itself to short torrential downpours in the afternoons. June and July tend to be the driest months in the year.
Manila

Climate - Manila has two seasons, dry and wet. The dry season is from December to May with temperatures rising above 30 degrees Celsius. From June to November is the wet season and you have a good chance of finding yourself in a typhoon. Typhoon season runs from the middle of May to August. February to April is probably the best time to visit Manila.

Tourists - Manila doesn't really see a large influx of tourism so this usually doesn't have any bearing on when to visit Manila.

Festivals - The largest procession in the country is the Black Nazarene Procession which takes place on the 9th of January in Quiapo, Manila. "Ati-Atihan" is celebrated in the third week of January in Kalibo on Panay. This celebration is like the Mardi Gras, Filipino style.

Singapore

Climate - Actually the climate in Singapore is fairly regular so anytime is a good time to go.

Tourists - Singapore doesn't really see a large influx of tourism so once again anytime of the year is fine.

Festivals - Thaipusam is a spectacular festival which takes place in February. The Singapore Food Festival is held in April and in June the Great Singapore Sale.
