| Points
to consider when applying for a visa |
- Make
sure your attire is presentable, no shorts,
torn clothes, sandals etc.
- Bring
your ticket or itinerary showing your departure
out of Taiwan.
- Express
Service is available in Bangkok for an additional
50% of your regular fee.
- You
must bring 2 passport photos with your application.
- You
will need an employment authorization from the
Council of Affairs if you are applying for a
resident visa in order to get an ARC.
- If
you are applying for a tourist visa you will
need proof of financial support such as a bank
account statement showing sufficient funds

| Transportation
to and from the airport |
The
airport is located 24 kilometers north of Bangkok.
Taxis run regularly and the journey time from
the airport to city center is 40 to 60 minutes.
Fares are based on meter fares plus BHT 50. Buses
# 59 and 95 operate 24 hours a day and can also
take you to city center for about BHT 4. Other
air conditioned bus services 4, 10, 13 & 29
operate from 05:00 to 21:00 every 15 to 20 minutes
and are BHT16.The travel time is approximately
60 minutes. Thai limousine services are available
for BHT 650. There is a free shuttle bus service
between terminals which takes 20 minutes.
